Heather Ryan has proudly called Girard home since 2008 and brings a strong commitment to the community she serves every day. She joined the City of Girard team in 2018 and has since built a reputation for dependable service, attention to detail, and a genuine focus on helping residents and local businesses navigate city processes with clarity and confidence. In 2023, Heather earned her Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) certification, reflecting her dedication to continued professional development and to providing accurate, responsive, and service-minded support in municipal government.

As City Clerk, Heather plays an important role in maintaining city records, supporting public meetings and official documentation, and helping ensure the daily operations of City Hall run smoothly and efficiently. She values transparency, organization, and accessibility, and takes pride in being a friendly, reliable point of contact for those who work with the City.

Heather is married to her husband, Kenneth, and together they have two daughters, Paige and Brooklynn. She is also a proud grandmother to her grandson, Phoenix. Outside of work, she enjoys the beauty of spring and fall, spending time with family and friends, and caring for her three dogs, Remi, Sophie, and Marley.
