Dangerous and Damaging Objects in the Streets

Did you know that the City of Girard has an ordinance against dangerous or damaging objects in the streets?  Ordinance 1323 is in place to protect the safety and welfare of passersby who use our city streets.  Dangerous or damaging objects includes (but not limited to): glass, tacks, nails, bottles, and wire.  This ordinance also states that property owners or occupants cannot blow any leaves or landscape waste, including grass, onto the streets.  To view the ordinance in its entirety, click here.
