Swimming Pool Opens for 2018 Season

Summer is fast approaching and that means it's time to be thinking about summer activities.  The City of Girard is pleased to announce that the Municipal Swimming Pool will be opening for the 2018 season on Saturday, May 26th and will remain open until the weekend before school starts in August.  Hours of operation will be from 1pm to 9pm daily (weather permitting), with an Adult Swim from 6pm to 9pm on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.  

This year, two sessions of swim lessons will be provided.  The first session will start on June 11th and end on June 21st, and the second session will start on July 9th and end on July 19th. Lessons are held Monday thru Thursday, with Friday being used for make-up days.  Three classes per session will be offered (9am, 10am, and 11am) at the rate of $15 per child per session.

Pool Admission for the 2018 season have been set at:

Kiddie Pool (Age 7 and under): $1.00 (Must be accompanied by care provider)

Regular Pool:

17 & under: $2.00       18 & over: $3.00

Season Pass:

Single $35.00

Family (4 members living in the same residence) $90.00

Additional family members $10.00 per person (must be living at the same residence)
