If you are flushing more than "toilet tissue" along with your bodily waste, it does NOT break down properly causing clogging of our sewers. Disposable wet wipes are made with cotton and require time to break down. Diapers should not be disposed into the sewer system. We suggest these items be disposed via the garbarge container.
When these items enter our sewage system and begin damaging our equipment, we have to replace these machines before the scheduled replacement period. This requires additional funds. Guess where those "additional funds" come from? "The customers using the sewer utility." Neither you, as a paying customer, or us, provider of services, want increase of rates until absolutely necessary.
Please be aware of what's going down the toilet(s) in your household and help educate your family members regarding this matter.
A Happy Sewer is a Free-Flowing Sewer. :)
